Design Concept

The design concept is inspired by the conception of various architectural styles and decorative features as an evolution of mankind throughout different period of time in Georgetown, transforming the spatial images of various building traditional styles found in the city, such as open hall, terrace, tower, etc. to embody an expression of time and space. The idea of this transformation is to allow the heritage spaces stand out in their raw beauty while complementing them with a strong contemporary design and transform them into a form of harmony to represent a new image and main attraction for the city. It is vital to respect the authenticity of the spaces and existing design elements while transforming them at the same time in order to unlock possibilities, create more connections in a way that acts to preserve the traditional setting.
